Inclusivity

At Momentum Dance School, we welcome everyone, including children with disabilities. We believe that all children should get a chance

to dance and express themselves

(for more details, please get in touch with us).

We offer a range of dance genres so there is something for everyone.

All of our classes have an equal balance between learning dance technique and exploring personal artistry.

BA (Hons) Dance

Diploma in Dance Education in Classical ballet ISTD*

I started dancing at the age of 10, originally from France I moved to the UK when I was 15.

As a teenager, I trained mostly in contemporary and ballet. As part of my BTEC, I also explored other styles such as tap and jazz. My passion for dance continued as I went on to complete a foundation degree in Dance Theatre Performance at the Bristol Dance Centre on Jacob’s Wells road. Followed by a BA(Hons) in Dance at the University of Chichester, where I graduated with a first.

At university, I explored a variety of contemporary techniques such as: Graham, Cunningham, Limon, release and contact improvisation. As well as Cecchetti Ballet and Ballet for contemporary dancers.

As a teacher, I like to encourage my students to challenge themselves technically and creatively. My curiosity for movement is reflected in my creative work as both a teacher and a dance artist.

As a dance artist, my curiosity for movement has led me to create a diverse range of choreographies; from physically demanding pieces to more intricate gestural work. I enjoy choreographing and staging pieces for dance performances and value the creative process in creating, encouraging my students to contribute their ideas.
